Serves 8 

10 minute prep + 1 hour setting


  • 600g silken tofu
  • 200g dark chocolate (use good quality dark chocolate, we use 72%, but choose whatever suits your personal preference)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (adjust this to your own personal preference, you can also use honey)
  • optional additions include, vanilla extract, sea salt.

For a thicker mousse, add a tablespoon or two of cacao powder.

Serve with a sprinkle of sea salt or fresh berries!



  1. Start by breaking up your chocolate and putting it in a bowl to melt, either over a pan of hot water or in a microwave.
  2. While the chocolate is melting, add the silken tofu to the blender with the maple syrup. Blend this together for a few minutes until it is well combined and bubbly.
  3. Once the chocolate has melted, pour into the blender with the tofu and blend again for a few minutes until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into dishes of your choice and leave to cool before putting it in the fridge to set for at least 1 hour.
